for profit but for service. All profits (after expenses
and required reserves) generated from loans and savings accounts
are returned to you, our members, in dividends and services.
Our Credit Union was state chartered in 1957 and is supervised by
the State Corporation Commission/Bureau of Financial Institutions.
Our accounts are insured by the National Credit Union Share
Insurance Fund (NCUASIF). NCUASIF is the strongest federal insurance
agency around.
Each year at the annual meeting members have an opportunity to elect
officers to act on their behalf. These officers make decisions that
help to keep the Credit Union strong and safe. You are encouraged
to contact the officers with your questions and suggestions or to
volunteer your services.
The staff and volunteers are always ready to serve you. We would

Chesapeake Public Schools Employees' Credit Union Inc. is a member
owned and controlled, not for profit financial institution which
exists for the benefit of its' members. Its' goal is to provide
competitive financial services while maintaining the Credit Union's
long-term stability.
